I love ice cream.  My boyfriend and I used to go to Cold Stone a lot and eat so much that we’d swear off ice cream.  It was all fun and games, except one time he actually meant it.

Jolly Rancher Vodka

The most popular post on this blog is Skittles Vodka Party Favors.  It turns out that everyone really likes brightly colored DIY flavored vodkas.  Many of the comments I’ve received are about variations.  Different liquors, different sizes, or different candies.  People are so creative!  I’d never thought of half of the things that people have suggested.

Oreo Fudge with an Oreo Crust

My family was in town last week.  It’s always great to see them and spend some time with family where I can go back and sleep in my own bed.  Plus they buy me dinner lots and I like that too.
At the end of their trip, they gifted me all the snacks and food they bought but didn’t use.  This included a lot of Oreos.

Armenian Pastries: Nazook

I apologize in advanced.  I held out on you.  I didn’t post this recipe for a VERY long time.  There’s this thing called the Daring Kitchen and they have a division called the Daring Bakers.  They have one recipe a month all the members make and post about on the same day.  You have to do it at least 8 times a year (I think…I’m a little fuzzy on the rules).  I did all of one challenge (the armenian pastry – nazook challenge) and forgot to post on the right day.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

I’ve been doing some research on soufflés in preparation for September’s Scary Adventure.  Everyone says that oven temperature is really important.  I knew that my oven temperatures are pretty accurate (thanks to my handy dandy oven thermometer), but I wasn’t sure if it heated up evenly.  I read somewhere that you could put a bunch of pieces of bread in your oven for a few minutes and see if there was any unevenness.  That seemed boring to me.  I needed peanut butter chocolate chip cookies.
