Corn Chowder and Dumplings

So when it was rainy and cloudy and I just wanted to eat soup, I was hesitant to try a corn soup.  I stay away from corn chowders, because I don’t need a bunch of potatoes.

French Onion Soup

I’m struggling with how to start this post. I just want to repeat “I love french onion soup” over and over, but you still probably won’t understand how much I love it. If I’m at a restaurant that serves french onion soup, I’ll either order it or be depressed until I can go back and order it.

Smoky Corn Soup

I’ve been a little obsessed with corn. I’m not sure why, because I’ve never really been a huge corn fan. Yet for some reason, when I went to the grocery store the other day and I saw fresh corn, I couldn’t stop putting more and more in my basket.

Tomato Gorgonzola Soup

Until recently, I didn’t really like soup.  Something about drinking food with chunks in it seemed really weird to me.  That was until I went to this small soup shop in Tacoma, Washington called Infinite Soups.  I had a tomato gorgonzola soup, and it was amazing.

Miso Soup

As you may have guessed, I’m REALLY picky.  I pretty much assume anything I don’t like must be gross.  Typically, I’m wrong.  The most egregious error I’ve made due to my pickiness was assuming that all soups were gross.

Cinnamon Carrot Soup

My boyfriend loves carrots.  He’s probably part rabbit with how excited he gets when I present him with just a  raw pealed carrot.  One time I was at the store and I impulsively bought a huge bag of carrots.  It was like 5 pounds.  I have no idea what I was thinking.  Even with how much my boyfriend loves carrots, there’s no way that two people could eat that many carrots before they went bad.
