Vanilla Latte Ice Cream

Vanilla Latte Ice Cream I love ice cream.  My boyfriend and I used to go to Cold Stone a lot and eat so much that we’d swear off ice cream.  It was all fun and games, except one time he actually meant it.  Every time after this fateful day when I’d ask, “Cold Stone?” he’d reply, “I don’t eat ice cream, remember?”  He actually hasn’t eaten ice cream in like two years.  It makes me sad because now I have to get ice cream alone and no one likes going to get ice cream alone.

Vanilla Latte Ice CreamFortunately, I just found out how to make my own two ingredient ice cream so I can have delicious ice cream whenever I want.  Bonus?  It’s super easy.  Double bonus?  I added coffee and vanilla to make vanilla latte ice cream.  Yeah, this is probably the best thing ever and you need to try it immediately.  The only reason to not eat this is if you’re my boyfriend and swore off ice cream.

This is a recipe that I can make and it looks so delicious! I really like the coffee in it and I bet it gives this ice cream a really good flavor. I want to make this because I love ice cream. Sorry to hear that your boyfriend does not want to eat ice cream anymore.

Ice cream is my weakness, and my husband loves coffee. Great combo

what is not fair is seeing this post all over twitter, pinterest, facebook, google plus, and blog lovin.. then entering the giveaway on giftforallseaon and here it is again, tempting me to steal all my hubby’s personal tub of icecream..

He doesn’t need a whole tub anyway, right? ;)

This is a great recipe. thanks so much for it. We eat a lot of ice cream at our house. This would be a good one for my son who likes coffee ice cream and its not easy to find it in the grocery stores anymore

Reply

Holly September 10, 2013 at 3:37 PM

Totally. And making it at home is always easier than going out to the store if you run out.

I actually had no idea ice-cream was so easy to make. Definitely going to look into this.

Reply

Holly September 12, 2013 at 8:10 PM

To be fair, this is only sorta kinda mostly ice cream. Tastes like it though so who’s complaining?

Reply

nicole September 12, 2013 at 9:45 PM

What would be even better? Putting a hefty scoop of this in your coffee mug and then pouring strong coffee over it. Melty coffee float.

Heaven! Absolute heaven! I’m nervous to try this but I really, really want to. Every time I make my own ice cream it’s an epic fail. Hopefully I can pull this one out because it sounds too delicious not to.

Thanks!

It was pretty easy to make. Just be careful mixing in the sweetened condensed milk to the whipped cream and you’ll be fine. Good luck!

I’ve always been too lazy to try an at-home ice cream recipe, but this one sounds incredibly simple. Plus Vanilla lattes are one of my favorite things ever.

Reply

Holly September 21, 2013 at 3:56 PM

Yeah, that’s how I decided what flavor to make. What do I love a lot? Vanilla lattes! Done.
